Jeremiah Welch

Jeremiah Welch joins the University of Valley Forge Department of Athletics as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, as well as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach after serving as a Volunteer Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa for the past two years.

Prior to his time at Clarke, Welch was an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball Team at Loras College (2017). In 2015-2016, Welch served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Men’s Basketball Team at his Alma Mater, the University of Providence. Additionally, before his stint at Providence, Welch had the opportunity to intern as an Athletic Performance Coach at Pure Athletics (2014-2015). During his time at Pure, Welch was privileged with working with high leveled athletes in various sports.  

A true native of Sacramento, California, Welch graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Health and Performance from the University of Providence, where he also competed on the Men’s Basketball, and Track and Field team. Welch is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), Personal Trainer (ACSM), as well as a certified Level One Coach for USA Weightlifting.

Welch is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at the University of Valley Forge.
