Biography
Brannon attends Central Assembly of God in Cumberland, MD. She enjoys music Switchfoot, and loves to play basketball. Her future plans include working overseas and serving God in some capacity. During her soccer career, Brannon cherishes the experience of being a part of a greatly improving program.
In high school, Brannon was the President of her school’s National Honor Society. She was the student leader of her campus Youth Alive organization and graduated as her class’ Valedictorian.
While at Valley Forge, Brannon has been a student leader (ARA) on campus and has been involved in children’s ministry at a couple local churches. She also was named to the VFCC Dean’s List for her academic excellence. During the summer of 2008, Brannon went on a short-term mission’s trip to South America.
In 2008, Brannon led the team in goals (12), assists (10), and total points (34). She was once again, named to the All-East Region First-Team.
In 2007, Brannon led the Lady Patriots in goals scored and total points and served as a team captain. She was named to the All-East Region First-Team.
During high school, Brannon was a two-sport standout. She played four years of varsity soccer. She was a starter for all four years and was team captain during her junior and senior years. Brannon also played four years for the basketball team, of which she was both a starter and a team captain. Brannon earned Most Valuable Player awards in both sports. She was named a First Team All-Area soccer player and was twice named Athlete of the Month. For basketball, she received All-State Honorable Mention honors.
