Biography
Chelsea Mason attends Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Pocomoke, MD. She enjoys music by the David Crowder Band and has a slew of hobbies. Chelsea enjoys running, field hockey, game nights, spending time with family (especially her niece), and has a great appreciation for art. Chelsea hopes to one day work in an orphanage.
In high school, Chelsea was a member of both her school’s National Honor Society and chapel praise team. She graduated as her school’s valedictorian.
While at Valley Forge, Chelsea has been a mainstay on the Dean’s List.
In 2008, Chelsea started in all 21 games and was the team’s third leading goal scorer (8). She also finished second on the team in assists (5) and third in total points (21). Chelsea was named the 2008-2009 VFCC Breakthrough Athlete of the Year.
In 2007, Chelsea started in all 18 games for the Lady Patriots. She was a team leader in both goals scored and total points.
During high school, Chelsea was a standout athlete in three sports. She played varsity field hockey for all four years and received All-Conference Second-Team honors. She also played four years of basketball and received the team’s Most Important Player award. On the track team, Chelsea set school records in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 4x100 meter relay, and long jump.
