PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The University of Valley Forge men's basketball team earned their third victory of the season with an impressive 86-76 win over Central Penn on Wednesday night at the Pit. A spirited crowd of 78 fans witnessed the Patriots dominate from start to finish in front of the home faithful.
First Half Surge Sets the Tone
Valley Forge came out firing, building a commanding 44-31 halftime lead behind balanced scoring and tenacious defense. The Patriots shot an efficient 46.9% from the field in the opening period while converting 10 of 15 free throw attempts. The 13-point cushion at the break proved to be the foundation for the eventual victory.
Reece Leads Offensive Charge
Isaiah Reece put on a show, leading all scorers with 17 points on an impressive 8-of-12 shooting performance. Reece was a force in the paint and on the break, consistently attacking the rim and getting to the free throw line. His stat line also included five rebounds and four steals, showcasing his all-around impact on both ends of the floor.

Valley Forge's victory was a true team effort, with 10 different players finding the scoring column.
