The University of Valley Forge women's volleyball team secured an impressive 3-0 win over Medgar Evers (25-16, 25-23, 25-20) on their home court. This victory showcased the Patriots' teamwork and determination as they executed a strong all-around performance.
Telia Robinson, Abigail Sumego, and Genesis Gasca each tallied four kills, leading the offensive charge for Valley Forge. The Patriots were relentless from the service line, with Madelyn Oakley dominating with six aces, while Sumego and Mattayah Lyndaker each added five.
Sumego also contributed a match-high eight assists, while Oakley and Gasca led the defensive efforts with seven and five digs, respectively. The team's balanced attack and defensive grit helped them control key moments, especially in the second set, where they edged out a close 25-23 victory.
