The University of Valley Forge women's soccer team faced a challenging road test against Brooklyn College on Saturday, coming up short in a 4-0 decision.
Despite Brooklyn's high-pressure attack, the Patriots' defense worked tirelessly, anchored by a stellar performance from goalkeeper Abigail Wood. Wood was a wall between the posts, recording an incredible 19 saves to keep Valley Forge in the game against a relentless 40-shot effort from the Bulldogs.
While the Patriots were unable to generate offensive opportunities, their resilience and never-give-up attitude were evident throughout the match. Each game presents a new chance for growth, and this team continues to build on its foundations with every outing.
The Patriots will regroup and prepare for their next challenge. Keep fighting, Valley Forge!
