The University of Valley Forge men's soccer team put up a valiant effort on the road, but a first-half goal proved to be the difference as Medgar Evers edged out the Patriots, 1-0.

Despite the early setback, the Patriots showcased resilience and determination throughout the match. Valley Forge outshot Medgar Evers in the second half and applied constant pressure, tallying six shots after halftime and forcing five saves from the opposing keeper. The Patriots also earned three second-half corner kicks, creating dangerous opportunities that kept the Medgar Evers defense on their toes.

On the defensive end, the Patriots held strong, limiting Medgar Evers to just two shots in the second half. Goalkeeper Elisha Skipper recorded three key saves to keep the Patriots within striking distance.

Valley Forge displayed excellent sportsmanship and discipline, committing just one foul in the second half compared to Medgar Evers' 12. Their efforts exemplify the grit and character that define the Patriots' program.
