The UVF Men's Soccer team traveled to Washington D.C this past weekend for a back to back Friday/Saturday contest. The first game on the schedule, against Gallaudet University saw the Patriots go up 3-1 at the half and finished with a final score of 6-2 after 90 minutes. Sophomore, John Sumo, led the charge with 2 goals coming at the 27th and 69th minutes. This brings our Patriots to 1-0 to open up the season and has them facing off against Alfred State College in the next game of the back to back.
 
            The back half of the back to back saw the Patriots going up against Alfred State College. It was a rough one for our Men's team as they fell to the Pioneers of Alfred State 0-5. This loss brings us to 1-1 to open up the season. Our Patriots hope to bounce back as they play Away at Albright College on Wednesday September 6th.
