Baseball Off to Explosive Start to 2023

The University of Valley Forge Baseball team has had a tremendous start to the 2023 Campaign. Through the first week and a half the team has gone 4-2, which is the best start that Valley Forge has had in its time in the NCAA. The team secured wins against Penn State-Scranton, Hilbert College and Penn State Hazleton. Many accolades also came with this explosive start. For the opening week of the Baseball Season the Patriots secured the CSAC Player of the Week and the CSAC Pitcher of the Week. The first Player of the Week went to Allan Goodwin and the first Pitcher of the Week went to Stephen Brice. Through the 2nd week of the season the CSAC also awarded Kasey Baumgart with Pitcher of the Week honors. This marks the first time the Patriots have swept these awards for a week and have had any pitcehr secure these awards. The team travels to Myrtle Beach, SC for their SPring Break Trip where they will play 4 games at the RIpken Experience.
