Despite having two players with double figures scores—24 points from Dashawn Goodine and 16 from Jason Bontemps—the patriots were unable to secure a lead in the opening 45 minutes of play. But in the second half, the patriots changed the tide, leading by a few points toward the finish. Despite two strong opportunities to win the game, the patriots failed to convert, and Medgar Evers came back to win 83-87.
