Bryn Mawr, PA – The Women's Basketball team opened up their regular season on the road at Bryn Mawr College. Despite outscoring the Owls in the 3rd and 4th quarters, the Patriots did fall at the conclusion by 7 points. The Patriots were led in this game by Jessi Manning who totaled 12 points on 6 field goals. Manning also finished the game with 10 rebounds. On Defense the Patriots were led by Dominique Barnes who totaled steals and 11 rebounds.
UVF 69 Trinity (DC) 26
Phoenixville, PA – The UVF Women's Basketball team captured their first victory of the season this past Saturday when they Hosted the Trinity (DC) Tigers. The Patriots dominated this game and outscored the Tigers in every quarter. The Patriots also took advantage of a lot of situations and scored 21 points off of turnovers. The Patriots were led by Dominique Barnes who posted 19 points off of 8 field goals, including 3 three pointers, and 11 rebounds.
