Chambersburg, PA– The University of Valley Forge Men's Baseball team had an away double header against the Wilson College Phoenix and dropped two games, 10-0 and 16-2.

Game 1


The Patriots struggled to get anything going versus the strong pitching of Kevin Ehrman who only allowed 5 hits in 6 innings and had 8 strike outs. Despite this Joseph Aguiar played a good game and went 2 for 3 at bat. The win goes to Kevin Ehrman for the Phoenix, the loss goes to Jeffery Espinal for the Patriots.  
 

Game 2

The Patriots showed up a little bit stronger in game to with a great showing from Jeffery Espinal and Chandler Beard, the duo went 4 for 6 at bat and had 2 RBI's. Again, solid pitching and fielding was an issue for the team, despite getting 8 hits the squad was only able to muster up 2 runs. The win goes to Dereck Ivey for the Phoenix, and the loss goes to James Jackson for the Patriots.
