Patriots lose close game to CSI Dolphins
Myrtle Beach, SC (Griffith Field). – The Patriots (0-3) played the College of Staten Island Dolphins (1-1) in there first game at the Ripken Experience.Â
Game Summary – Patriots 3, Cougars 6
The Patriots went down early in the game due to some solid hitting from Nick Meola, Domenick Castiglione, and Jett Nouvertne. Despite this the patriots rallied together to try and make a comeback with an impressive double to left center by
Cody Rak. The game stayed tight at 3 to 4 in favor of the Dolphins up until the bottom of the fourth. Despite giving up some hits
Joseph Aguiar was able to rack up six strike outs in his six innings pitched. The dolphins were lead by Alexis Santos on the mound who only allowed 3 hits. With good pitching and some early runs the Dolphins were able to hold strong despite a good fight from the Patriots, and unfavorable weather. The second game of the day was canceled due to bad weather in the 4th inning of the game.Â
Up Next – The Patriots will be continuing on at the Ripken Experience. There next game will be Tuesday, March the 5th at 3pm, vs John Jay College.Â
