Phoenixville, PA– The University of Valley Forge Women's Softball team played at home against the Clarks Summit University Defenders in a double header. The Patriots lost both games with the Defenders winning 13-2 in the first game, and 23-1 in the second game.
Game 1
The Patriots were able to hit well, gaining 10 total hits in the game, but had trouble converting those hits into runs.
Lindsay LeSueur and
Kaitlyn Hess had the only two RBIs of the game for the Patriots. The win goes to Allison Glennon for the Defenders and the loss goes to
Lindsay LeSueur for the Patriots.
Game 2
The Patriots had a troublesome first inning allowing 20 runs, the strong hitting from the defenders translated into cold batting for the Patriots gaining 8 hits, but only being able to convert that into one run.
Carlee Conrad had the RBI for the only run of the game for the Patriots, and went 3 for 3 at bat in game 2. Molly Ayala earned the win for the Defenders, the loss goes to
Carlee Conrad for the Patriots.

The Patriots will play Clarks Summit College again in a double header at home on April the 3rd here at home.
