Summerdale, PA - The University of Valley Forge Men's Soccer (5-9) team fell to Central Penn (4-7-1) on Saturday evening with a 2-3 loss.

The evening started off promising as
Mathurin Allawai scored a goal within the first two minutes of play, producing an early 1-0 advantage. However, the knights would quickly respond with a score in the 4
th minute, tying the match 1-1. Both teams continued to battle back and forth throughout the half, but with no scores, the game remained tied 1-1 at the end of the first.

With the second-half in action, Central Penn would take lead with a score at 73:54. Down 2-1, Valley Forge attempted to take control of the field before
Mathurin Allawai would sink another shot for the Patriots at 87:06, tying the match 2-2. Valley Forge would give their best effort in playing heavy defense, but it wouldn't be enough as Central Penn was able to find luck scoring their final goal in the last minute of play, ending the game 3-2.

Valley Forge held a 17-14 benefit on shots for the night, with each team earning a corner.
