Phoenixville, PA – The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball team (3-16) hosted the Mounties of Mount Aloysius College (14-6) on Thursday, October 10
th, falling in straight sets 3-0 (25-9, 25-9, 25-8).
The impressive Mounties were able to dictate every set, displaying a 29-9 kill advantage, 27-9 on assists, and 12-2 on aces. Mt. Aloysius collected a .324 attacking percentage, only committing five errors throughout the entire match. The Patriots struggled against the experienced team as they tallied a -.214 clip with 24 hitting errors on the night.
Senior
Kaitlyn Hess led the way for the Patriots in kills (4), service aces (2), and digs (11), while junior Hannah Haryluk led in assists (3).
The Patriots will be back in action following the break as they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Hazelton on Thursday, October 17
th at 7 p.m.
