Clarks Summit, PA - The University of Valley Forge Women's Soccer team opened their 2018 campaign by traveling to Northeast PA for a contest against the Defenders of Clarks Summit University. UVF lost by a final score of 7-1.
Clarks Summit wasted little time getting things rolling. The Defenders scored fast and often on Saturday afternoon. CSU scored 3 times in the first half and 4 times in the second. UVF had scoring chances at the end of the first half but were unable to convert. The Patriots lone goal came late in the second half. Freshmen
Alondra Hernandez-Garduno scored her first career goal as the Patriots avoided the shut out. UVF fell by a score of 7-1.
