DOVER, DE. – The University of Valley Forge Patriots Men's Baseball team (2-10) traveled to Delaware facing Wesley College Wolverines (4-6) losing both games in a double header.

Game 1 – Patriots 5, Wolverines 15
Game Summary – The Patriots came into the game seeking their third win of the season. In the first inning, Cody Rak and Jeffery Espinal reached a base from a walk and a single but were left on base to close. The Wolverines capitalized by scoring four runs to start the game and continued to hit consistently adding four runs in the second inning. A homer by C. Seibert helped the Wolverines pull away from the Patriots extending the lead to 8-0. Waldo Odens Jr. connected perfectly on a pitch for the Patriots first run of the game coming by the way of a solo homer in the top of the fourth. However, the Wolverines answered back with two runs which kept the Patriots out of reach. At the top of the sixth, Marcus Fultz sent a shot to left field for a double, which moved Andres Garcia into scoring position at third with no outs. Garcia scored on a wild pitch as Fultz advanced to third. Brian Edwards doubled to center scoring Fultz to keep the sticks alive for the Patriots. The Wolverines walked Espinal to score the final run for the Patriots as the Wolverines closed out the inning and game in the seventh. The Patriots combined for seven hits scoring five runs. Espinal led the Patriots with a pair of RBI's on three trips to the plate.

Game 2 – Patriots 5, Wolverines 18
Game Summary – The Patriots scored three runs to get the momentum rolling. With bases loaded and two outs Zach Nunnery's good eye lead to a walk to score Reyes. Followed by a ground ball up the middle from Fultz to score Edwards. Aaron Klaehn drove in Jeffery Espinal to give the Patriots a three run lead. The Wolverines scored a solo run in the first and unleashed their batting in the second inning scoring fourteen earned runs to swing the momentum of the game. The Patriots were unable to cross the plate until the sixth inning thanks to Klaehn scoring on a passed ball and Cody Rak's shot down left field line to score Darryl Ivester. The Wolverines second inning scoring stretch proved to be too much for the Patriots as they closed the game. The Patriots were led by Aaron Klaehn who earned an RBI, earned run and a single batting 1-2.
