Phoenixville, PA – The University of Valley Forge Men's Soccer team welcomed the Knights of Berkeley College (NJ) to UVF on Wednesday afternoon.  After going into halftime with a 1-0 lead, the Knights scored six times in the second half.  Valley Forge lost a by a final score of 6-1.

The Patriots got off to a great start.  Jacob Kelley made three key saves and along with the Patriot defense, UVF kept the Knights off the scoreboard in the first half.  Valley Forge broke through for the game's first goal in the 34^th minute.  The ball bounced around in the box until Devon Washington placed a header into the upper right corner of the goal.  Washington's goal gave the Patriots a 1-0 lead.  The score at the half would remain 1-0 in favor of Valley Forge.

 The second half did not go the Patriot's way.  The Knights came out in the second frame and played with a lot of energy.  Berkeley scored back to back goals in the 45^th and 46^th minute that were less than a minute apart.  The Knights were able to add 4 more goals throughout the second half.  Valley Forge fell by a final score of 6-1.
