Morristown, NJ – The Patriot's Men's Soccer team traveled to Morristown, NJ for a game against the College of Saint Elizabeth Eagles on Wednesday afternoon.
CSE raced out to a quick lead. The Eagles made the score 1-0 in the 19th minute of the first half. The Patriots committed a foul inside the box and a penalty kick was awarded. CSE took advantage of the opportunity. Raul Galindo converted the PK to give the Eagles a 2-0 advantage after 22 minutes of play. Saint Elizabeth would add another goal before halftime to make the score 3-0.
In the 55th minute of the second half, The Eagles were awarded another penalty kick because of a Valley Forge foul. The Eagles scored on their second PK of the game that increased their lead to 4-0. UVF's
Velkin Escobar picked up his sixth goal of the season to put the Patriots on the scoreboard in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, Valley Forge surrendered another goal late and took the loss by a score of 5-1.
