Phoenixville, PA – The Valley Forge Men's Basketball team traveled to New York City on Saturday afternoon for a game against the Lightning of Lehman College. UVF fell by a final score of 108-82.
The Patriots were led offensively by freshman Isaiah Tisdale with 18 points while Junior
Sean Word added 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The Patriots could not stop the hot shooting of Lehman College. The Lightning shot an impressive 61% from the field during the first 20 minutes of play. After the Patriots tied the game on an Emmanuel Toms jumper, the Lightning went on a 7-0 run and never looked back. At the end of the first half Lehman led by a score of 61-41. The Lightning continued to pour it on and went on to beat Valley Forge by a final score of 108-82.
