PHOENIXVILLE, PA-Coming off their first win, the Patriots took on the Lions of Penn State Hazleton on Thursday. They would drop both games by scores of 19-3 and 26-8.
GAME 1The Lions jumped out early scoring 11 runs in the first 2 innings. The Patriots would get on the board in the 3
rd when
Shelton Gray had an RBI single, followed by a
Ryon McGinness RBI double. The score would be 11-2 after 3.
Waldo Odens Jr. would single in the Patriots 3
rd run in the fifth, and the Lions would tack on a few more runs for your final 19-3.
Ryon McGinness would lead all Patriots at the plate with 2 hits and 1 RBI.

GAME 2Fielding woes continue to plague the Patriots as they committed 8 errors in game 2. That combined with the Lions 21 hits led the Lions to a 26-8 victory. The game was called after 6 innings due to darkness.
The Lions scored 5 in the 1
st and 12 runs in the 3
rd to claim the victory. The Patriots scored 8 runs on only 3 hits in the loss.
