Gwynedd Valley, PA - The University of Valley Forge Women's Volleyball team traveled to Gwynedd Valley, PA to take part in a tri-match against Gwynedd Mercy University and Marywood University on Saturday afternoon.

UVF took on Marywood University in their first of two matches on the afternoon. The Patriots lost in straights sets to the Pacers. The Pacers opened up big leads in each of the three sets and UVF was never able to recover. Notable standouts for the Patriots include
Karlee Kipe who had 5 kills and
Kaitlyn Hess with 4 kills.

In their second match of the afternoon, the Patriots took on the host of the tri-match, Gwynedd Mercy University. UVF dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-12 and 25-13. The Patriots won 8 out of the last 11 points to secure game 3. Needing to win the remaining sets the Patriots battled in what would be the 4
th and final set. They fell to the Griffins by a score of 25-1 losing the match 3 games to 1.
Karlee Kipe (9) and
Megan Freed (8) led the Patriots in kills.
