PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The University of Valley Forge Softball Team played its home opener on Wednesday against Penn State Brandywine. Unable to get anything going at the plate, the Patriots lost a pair of 16-0 games.

Amanda McGinness doubled in the first inning of game one, but the Patriots were unable to push her across the plate. It was the Patriots only hit of game one.
It was much of the same in game two as the Lions continued their hot hitting at the plate. Patriots'
Emily Cantrell tallied the teams' only hit of the game for the Patriots.
The Patriots will now be on break through the Easter Holiday. They'll return back to Home action next Friday, April 10
th against Trinity Washington University. The double header starts at 4PM.
