LANCASTER, PA – The University of Valley Forge Women's Basketball Team went on the road Thursday evening and took on the Lancaster Bible College Chargers. The Patriots got off to a good start, holding a 12-7 lead after jumpers from
Ariene Ohimor and
Mikala Brinson. They continued to keep pace with the Chargers as another jumper from Brinson gave them a 17-14 lead with 9:33 to play in the first half. However, the Chargers would get the best of the Patriots over the remainder of the half. To close out the half, Lancaster Bible went on a 22-2 scoring run. The Patriots went cold and didn't take good care of the basketball. The score at halftime was 36-19.

It was too much for Valley Forge to overcome and Lancaster Bible went on to win, 74-34. They extended their winning streak to ten games.
Patriots'
Mikala Brinson scored 13 points.
Amanda McGinness continues to be a strong presence inside for the Patriots. She scored 8 points and managed to grab a team high 7 rebounds.
