BROOKLYN, NY – The University of Valley Forge Women's Basketball Team traveled to New York on Saturday, January 31
st to take on the Bears of St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn).
The offensive execution for the Bears was clicking on all cylinders as they jumped out to a 48-28 lead at halftime. Meanwhile, the Patriots struggled to get things going on the offense end, with only
Mikala Brinson reaching double figures (12 points). St. Joseph's continued their efficiency in the second half and shot 52.5% for the game. Valley Forge did not have an answer for the Bears and lost by a final score of 86-38.
The Patriots will have a quick turnaround, as they'll be on the road again Monday night. They will travel to Bryn Mawr College in a rematch game. The teams last met on January 13th, with the Patriots coming out on top, 36-33. They will look for the same outcome Monday night at 7PM!
