FRONT ROYAL, VA- The Lady Patriots wrapped up their two day road trip through Virginia, competing against the Christendom College Crusaders, Saturday, September 20. The women appeared to be a step behind from start to finish and were defeated by a final score of, 0-6.
After playing a grueling game the night before against Southern Virginia University, the Lady Patriots were all but spent. As fatigue and injury set in, the women managed to take just two shots the entire game. The Lady Crusaders used the visitor's slow start to their advantage, recording four goals in the first half and adding two more in the second.
Caitlin LaFountain recorded both shots for the Lady Patriots, while goalkeeper
Amanda McGinness tallied 17 saves.
The women receive two days rest before hitting the road for their next competition against Mount Aloysius College, Tuesday, September 23. The Lady Patriots will be hosted by the Mounties at 4PM.
Go Patriots!
