SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, PA- The Patriots traveled to Penn State Schuylkill to compete in a single game against the Lions. With crippling errors early on, the men lost the game by a final score of 0-13.
From the first inning the Lions used every Patriot error to their advantage, scoring multiple runs each at bat. Seemingly helpless against the host school's pitchers and defense, the Patriots recorded just one hit.
Josh Strohm recorded a double at the top of the fourth inning, followed by two walks to load the bases. The Lions saved themselves from any damage by striking out the next two batters and closing out the inning. Unable to battle back, the Patriots gave up the win to the Lions.
The men take one day to rest before traveling to Marywood University for a double header, April 11. The first game is scheduled for a 1pm start.
Go Patriots!
