SCHUYLKILL, PA- The men's basketball team traveled to Penn State Schuylkill, Saturday, February 9 in hopes of picking up their second win of the week. With 15 minutes left in the game and 33 points lead, the Patriots were able to play the entire bench and secure the win over the host school, 83-61.
The Patriots were able to end the week going 2-0 against their competitors. The men bolted from the gate knocking down shots and using their high pressure defense to hold the Lions down. At halftime the Patriots held a comfortable 28-point cushion, 49-21.
As the second period got underway, the Patriots were able to hold their advantage and give their bench playing time. The men made the most of their shots, shooting 47% while holding the host school just 39%. The Patriots were also able to force 26 turnovers while committing just 17.
Jean LeBlanc recorded a game high 25 points, while
Kevin Mack tallied 13 points of his own.
Lance Harris sank 11 points with nine assists and three steals.
The Patriots travel for their next game against New Jersey City University, Monday, February 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm.
