Grand Slam Powers Patriots Over Tigers

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. –The Lady Patriots captured a double-header sweep against Trinity Washington University, Monday, April 22.  Led by the power hitting of Amanda McGinness, the Patriots captured game one with a score of 19-2, and game two, 24-1.

The Patriots recorded a big first inning, earning eight runs followed by a three-run homerun from Amanda McGinness to go up, 11-2.  The Patriots defense protected their lead, as the Tigers were unable to score again before the game came to final close in the fifth inning.
