BETHLEMEN, PA- The Valley Forge Christian College men's soccer team traveled to Moravian College, Wednesday, October 16. The Patriots dropped the match to the Greyhounds, 0-13.
In the first period, the Greyhounds released an arsenal of shots, 31, at the Patriots' net. At 29:03, Jonathan Manning took the first shot of the game for the Patriots, shooting just over the Greyhounds' goal.
Into the second half, the men were able to contain the damage and hold the Greyhounds to just four more goals. The Patriots' created several opportunities to score but were unable to get the ball past the host school's goalie.
Robert Taylor recorded 20 saves in the game.
The Patriots take the remainder of the week to reorganize before hosting their final home game and senior day, Saturday, October 19, against The King's College. Kick-off is set to start at 3 pm.
