CHAMBERSBURG, PA- The Valley Forge Christian College women's soccer team traveled to Chambersburg, PA on Wednesday, October 9 to play host school Wilson College. The Patriots were outmatched by the Phoenix and fell by a final score of 0-7.
It was a tough day to say the least for the women, as they were denied any shots on goal and fought the entire 90 minutes to find a way to cross into Phoenix territory. The Patriots' defense had their hands full with a quick-paced Phoenix offense, who took 16 shots on goal.
The Patriots take a week to rest before returning back to the road for their next match-up against East Region rival, Cairn University. Kick-off is set for 4 pm.
