PHOENIXVILLE, PA - The VFCC women's basketball team was defeated at the "Pit" gymnasium on Monday night (Jan. 30) by NCCAA II East Region opponent, Lancaster Bible College, by a final score of 76-66. Tonight's loss drops the Lady Patriot's record to 9-14, and leaves them winless thus far in the East Region this season. Five minutes into the first half, the Lady Patriots held a one point lead (4-3) off of a jumper from
Amanda Reich, their only lead of the game. The Lady Chargers would take the lead back just thirty seconds later. After trading baskets for the next few minutes, LBC would go on an 11-2 run that seemed to take the energy out of the Lady Patriots. LBC would hold a 12 point (40-28) halftime lead.
In the second half, the Lady Patriots, and an energetic Valley Forge crowd, did their best to take back control of the game; Lancaster Bible halted every bit of gained momentum throughout the half. VFCC never got closer than within eight points of the lead.

Morgan Godwin, who finished with 17 points scored;
Aliyah Carr who finished with 17 points, a team high 7 rebounds, and 2 steals; and
