LANCASTER, PA – The Lady Patriots knew that they would get a great effort from Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday (Feb. 16).
Despite losing handedly the first time around, Lancaster Bible has never been a team to simply fold. The Lady Patriots won 74-39 in the first of two meetings.
This time around, the Lady Chargers attacked first. They led for most of the first half and held a 2-point advantage at the break (21-19).
In the second half, the Lady Patriots started to regain control of the game. The Lady Patriots were able to push their lead to 10 points with five minutes remaining and held that lead to secure a 55-46 victory.
Sophomore Amanda Compton finished with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Morgan Godwin notched 14 points, which included a 3-for-5 performance from the three-point line.
Shawneal McKeither earned 11 points and five steals.
Charla Benton grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out three assists.
Talaya Woodall earned a game-high six assists.
Amanda Reich and Aliyah Carr each finished with three assists.
