With 47 seconds remaining, Lehman's Jaleesa Gordon made a lay-up to steal the lead (64-63).
Unable to answer on the offensive end, the Lady Patriots were forced to foul. Lehman College nailed free-throws in those closing moments, securing the win. The final was 67-63.
In the end, it was still a great tournament for the Lady Patriots and a ray of light in what had been a rough start to the 2011-2012 season. The Lady Patriots are now 2-6 overall, but look to be improving.
