PHOENIXVILLE, PA – The Valley Forge women's basketball team missed a chance at another victory on Tuesday (Nov. 30), and chance to defeat a team that has had their number. Cedar Crest has held the advantage over the Lady Patriots for the past several years, and walked away victors once again.
Cedar Crest literally rebounded their way to victory, as they out-rebounded the Lady Patriots, 47-28. Neither team shot the ball particularly well, though Cedar Crest held a slight advantage.
The Lady Patriots' pressure caused Cedar Crest some problems, as the Valley Forge defense forced 23 turnovers. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to balance out the damage that Cedar Crest did on the boards.
