ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) is proud to announce that The University of Valley Forge has been accepted as an associate member in the sport of baseball for the 2019 season.
The University of Valley Forge, a member of the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA), will join Cairn University, Centenary University, Clarks Summit University, Keystone College and Wilson College has participating members in baseball. The Patriots will be immediately eligible for All-CSAC awards and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
"The CSAC Board of Directors and I are excited about the addition of The University of Valley Forge to our conference as an associate member in baseball," said Dr. David Haney, President of Centenary University and chair of the CSAC Board of Directors. "We look forward to seeing them compete in our conference in Spring 2019."
The University of Valley Forge is located in Phoenixville, Pa. Founded in 1939, the school enrollment is around 1,130 students. The baseball team has competed against many schools in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including several CSAC institutions. The school plays its home games at nearby Phoenixville High School.
