University of Valley Forge Athletics

Laura Medio is entering her 2nd season as the Assistant Softball Coach at the University of Valley Forge, where she brings leadership, energy, and a deep connection to the program as a proud UVF alumna and former team captain.

A 2024 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Valley Forge, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice while also completing the Honors Program with a 3.93 GPA. As a student-athlete, she was a standout leader on and off the field. Serving as team captain from 2022–2024, she played a key role in developing team chemistry, coordinating captain-led practices, and mentoring younger players. Her leadership extended campus-wide through her role as Treasurer and Social Media Coordinator for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she managed event budgets and represented UVF at United East Conference meetings.

Known for her work ethic, organization, and ability to connect with student-athletes, Coach Medio brings a player-first approach that supports holistic development. Her familiarity with the program and passion for building strong team culture make her an invaluable part of the Patriots’ coaching staff.
