Ortiz, A Philadelphia native comes to UVF after completing his undergraduate degree at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. While at Eastern, he competed in Cross Country for 4 years and also competed in Track and Field for 2 years. Ortiz is also the co-founder of Timeoteo Running Club. The club is comprised of approximately 20 children and youth who run on Tuesday and Thursday in the Hunting Park area of Philadelphia.
Coach Ortiz said " I am excited for the opportunity here at the University of Valley Forge. I look forward to building a great community with the cross country team. I very much look forward to see where the program goes."
