University of Valley Forge Athletics

In a week full of great performances, it was Olivia Strohm of the Women's Soccer Team that grabbed Patriot of the Week honors.  The freshman scored her first goal of her career against Gallaudet University on September 15th.  Later in the week, her effort against Penn State Mont Alto nearly gave the Patriots their first victory of the season.  Strohm had 2 goals and 1 assists in the 3-4 loss and was a constant threat the whole game.  She used her speed to take on defenders and showed great promise with her scoring and distributing ability.
