University of Valley Forge Athletics

Although the Men's Soccer team went 0-2 on the week, freshman goalie Alan Verone Jr. was very impressive in net for the Patriots!  In a 0-6 loss against Emory & Henry College he accumlated 13 saves, including many quick-reaction stops.  Against rival Summit University, Verone Jr. did all he could to keep the Patriots in striking distance as he had 6 saves in the 0-2 loss.  His presence in net has been a marked improvement for the Patriots squad this year.
