Matt McKenzie, the junior from Salisbury, MD, earned the athlete of the week award through his outstanding batting and pitching statistics during the double header against Christendom College. In the first game, he went 2-for-3 at the plate, earning one run. In the second game, He went 1-for-4 at the plate, driving in one run and earning one run. McKenzie also pitched the entire second game. He threw seven innings, earning eight strike outs, giving up just two walks and one earned run, giving baseball an 8-3 victory over the Crusaders!
